Great site. We all will miss the King. I just did a weekend at Sweet Rhythm in New York with Elvin's bass player Gerald Cannon and tenor player Mark Shim. IT was very sad to hear of the passing of ELVIN JONES. I saw him play in FORT LAUDERDALE 2 years ago and it was GREAT. My first time ever and now last. It is important to teach the lineage of the drumset and ELVIN is part of the lineage.
